Wounded Melody chapter 9 . 1/1/2006
This was one of the best ATG fan fics I have read to date. You really did a wonderful job and I couldn't stop reading! I look forward to more of your work in this vein.

andrea chapter 9 . 5/13/2005
hey, this is just stunning, inexplicably wonderful! I've read many fanfiction but rarely review (which i'm shameful to disclose) due to unforgivable laziness. However, i assure you, i actually felt shameful if i don't get to review yours. And i want to tell you that Iras is the very first original character (i presumed)that made me feel so real and does not repulsed. Thanks for writing such a great story~
gabo0 chapter 9 . 5/8/2005
Hi again!

I finally finished to read it! It's kind of sad that Hephaestion never recovered his memory.. but still, I love the way their relationship never faded.. It's so cool.

The whole story was catching.. it was awesome

I hope you'd write more.. I'll read them! For sure!

Great story, I enjoyed it immensely. Great Work!

I enjoyed the intemacy alexander showed hephaestion and the beauty of their love.
mamanchat chapter 8 . 4/24/2005
This was so painfully beautiful. Alexander and Hephaistion share this wonderful intimacy even if a sword of Damocles hangs above their heads.

If Alexander doesn’t find the right words when he learns that Hephaistion has lost all memories of /them/, he can be forgiven. What would be the right words? Only love could heal those wounds and luckily Alexander lets himself be guided by his instinct. They don’t need those memories, their souls know each other.

Only an epilogue to follow? I will cry bitter tears when these series will be over.
Stari-nite chapter 9 . 4/23/2005
A beautiful story, and a fitting end. Though I have to say I'm going to miss the excitement of a new update )
hpgryffin chapter 9 . 4/23/2005
It was a bittersweet ending. I love this chapter because it evoked so many emotions and clearly touches the readers' hearts. I love the mute boy and would have loved it if you have given him to Hephaistion, the way Alexander had Bagoas. Still, the ending was great. Thank you so much for sharing.
Fedia chapter 9 . 4/23/2005
I beg to disagree with Hephaistion. I am not relieved Alexander was not cruel with Bessos. But I guess you and Hephaistion think of Alexander better than I think of him. Anyway, an excellent conclusion for an excellent story. I liked the inclusion of the Iras character and I understand him wanting to go back with his people, even when he worshipped Hephaistion.

Another story coming? Please, say you are about to start publishing it.
Julie chapter 9 . 4/23/2005
Great ending - I truly enjoyed this story! Wonderful job!
crazyundeadfairy chapter 9 . 4/22/2005
this story has been absolutely amazine. Especially in the last few chapters. i really liked that you didn't have Hephaestion's memory return and the uneasiness that existed between him and Alexander at times even two years later. it's wonderfully realistic. you write both Hephaestion and Alexander's characters beautifully.
Queendel chapter 9 . 4/22/2005
A wonderful ending to a really great story.

Thanks for giving us a strong, brave and noble Heph and a sensitive, loving Alexander who was also a wise and great leader...and Iras' part in the story, although tragic, was a delight.

You didn't castrate Bessus for me, but that is all right...like Heph, I would accept his overall punishment with grace. (smile)

Very well Done. Looking forward to more fics from you soon.
