I've read the "original" of you story and while I can't honestly say yours is better I can't say it's worse either. Plus you have the slash element, everything becomes better with slash )

Great story I really wish you hadn't stopped writing it. It has been about 5 years now though...well if you ever do update...ur fan here...will be first in line to see the next chapter.

Ok, several points: one) that was some very interesting fudged Latin there. I would not have chosen some of those translations as they were rather literal, but I guess using the nicer "magus" form for magic would make it seem a little awkward. Two) I congratulate you on nearly making this better than thedreamer4's story (though I dearly love that one) as I think it has a bit better rounded characters and isn't so mixed up as her's ended up being (I think she started to add just a few 'too' many details into the plot too quickly) though it is a little slow (*eagerly awaits HARRY/DRACO STUUUFFFF!* :D). Three) There may be a few details that you may be missing: like the build up for some of their powers, such as Harry's scanner abilities and more about Hermione's mindspeaker abilities. I would just like to personally have little side 'things' about how they adjust to each one and what it feels like, etc. Hmmm, that's all really. This is my second time through though I as I didn't realize that you LEFT US HANGING like that when I first favorite-ed this a while ago. Good job overall and I LOVE the slash initiative on what was becoming a bit boring heterosexual story (sorry thedreamer4-I'm a slash fan .). Can't wait to continue reading if you decide to keep updating!

Its interesting to see the differences between the two stories, but also between Draco and Harry and everyone! I'm really looking forward to seeing what else you do with this story, I like how your not just rushing into everything and also not having Harry being automatically able to do everything and know instinctively what to do and so on... I like also how he is still showing his teenage side and also his angst, I like the confrontation of sorts between Harry and the Philius(sp?) the old Headmaster and how it was ultimately him who helped Harry get past that last little bump in the road towards accepting and blame and being okay with all that happened and not being angst-y every time he is over there and every time Sirius is brought up, I hope that came out alright, since I'm not sure it did, I'm in a rush, since I have to get to work, but I wanted to review since I haven't had time before and since I finished reading the other day, but wanted to let you know what I thought and how I was enjoying what I read so far and how, though there are some parts I like better in the other story, I'm still liking the differences and all...

Thanks for doing this and sharing what you've written and come up with, I actually was thinking the same thing as you about how it would be if it was a slash fic and especially a H/D fic! Thanks for making this and I can't wait to read more when you can, since I know how life gets in the way! Though I haven't posted anything I've written since I don't want to until I know I can post somewhat regularly and when I have my diff. stuff planned out at least somewhat!

I also just wanted to say how I liked the funeral and ritual and such going on in this chapter and the take on it you brought with it! Its different and interesting and in a subject and genre where so much is the same with maybe some little tiny differences, it is refreshing to see someone bring something different and new and it really is a good change and refreshing one at that to see!
