I know this is over 10 years old but, having recently watched FMA: Brotherhood again, I just had to read some Greed fic. This was both funny and hearth-breaking at the same time and since it was written before the manga was finished I gotta be amazed of the insight you had for Greed's character. In the end, his greatest desire truly was to have friends, a family of sorts, not power or money.

So then he soon sets out to recruit members of his weird but tightknit family! Haha

Oh the woes of the powerful and ambitious...There's always something. I'd say make YOUR OWN(he loves that) family, but we all saw how the beginning attempts worked out.
