This is onky the... too many times... I have reread this fic. I always thought the person in the shadows was Zechs, but this time I read it as being Wufei. Either way it was a really good line that made me think.

This is a long time favorite story that I come back to re read periodically. This time through, I noticed a major plot hole that doesn't seem to have been addressed in previous reviews so I thought I'd mention it: the prison location! Since the sheriff is the same, this places the prison in the county where Heero went on his hike. When Heero went to work in park and ran into the other pilots, the sheriff was also there. This placed the residence the pilots were living in in close proximity to Heero's facility since he came in a bus for a day's work. This is also where his new facility with Zechs is since it remains close to the other pilots. Next, the judge who releases Heero and Zechs is the same judge who was also in the park and he places their residence requirement such that they all move into Zechs' residence just outside of town and appears to be where they are still located. So why did it take 14 hours to fly to where Relena is held hostage? (This is also the prison Heero almost went to when he was put on the wrong bus, again indicating proximity.)

Quick question, are the 'Gearing Up' chapters in any way inspired by the movie "Airplane!"? I mean all these scenes: kid being invited up front, panicking woman with almost the same dialog, malfunctioning autopilot, etc. I just realized, It all seems to resemble the movie, though played straight and more realistic, I guess. It's kind of awesome as I love that movie.

I really enjoyed this story. It felt so raw and real and was, obviously, well researched. Everything about it was very believable. There were some typos here and there, but they were few and didn't detracted from my enjoyment of the story at all. Kudos!

this has been a fantastic read. It is the sort of story that I can see being realistic given the paranoya of governmental persons and the histerical nature of mob mentality. I was rather surprised at how zeche became part of the group; it was well done and totally believable. I am very much looking forward to reading the sequal. thank you for shaing such a wonderful universe.

I thought there was something fishy about that undersecretary. I am glad it got sorted out at least somewhat. I'm not even sure what I would have done in Relena's place if that happened to me. Ugh ...

This is really good. I have a question about the time line though. I am not an expert on gw, but I read somewhere that there were two wars. Is this in between the two or after both?

good las couple of chapters. I can definitely see why the g-boys hate school. When you get so used to doing things your own way and not having incompotent idiots boss you around ... I have always been in contempt of authority figures myself. I detest them especially when they try to tell me how to live my life.

I never really liked Rolena much myself. it is nice to see one that isn't completely psycho though. At least she'll be somewhat reasonable.
