So it was a set up. HP should know his mind is strong enough and protected by his familiar, that a child wouldn't be able to influence it subtly.

I wonder why Dumbledore wants Snape to investigate why Harry didn't get his letter. That's supposed to be McGonagall's job, since she's the deputy headmistress. Nice chapter, keep up the hard work!

12 years later and I still love what you have written, regardless of if you continue this story I hope that you are doing well and continue to write.

I don't think this chapter was bad. It may have been a bit short. but I didn't notice anything horrible while I was reading it. And I still don't, even now that you point it out.

I keep underestimating how interesting this story can get!

Wow, I've never seen the hat say something AFTER someone was sorted! It's not 'The Hat' becuz you're in control of the hat, since this is your fic. Also, I don't like that Harry is in Slytherin, Hufflepuff would actually have been a nice choice, and I was looking forward to that for a change, but SO MANY PPL have him be in Slytherin, it's just getting annoying and monotonous. And it's just feeling like I'm going to have to resign myself to that being the norm in fics.

I'm sorry I haven't really been paying attention to the chapter names. (At the end of the chapter I'm mad at myself that I didn't look at it in the beginning. I am especially bad at that.) but I think they're great! For me, your 'thanking the reviewers' section, I skip over, since honestly I think it's kind of boring, but I'm sure that if my name was on that list, I would feel really good, so I don't blame you, and I don't by any means have any reason for you to take it down.

I'm reading this after 15 chapters have been posted, and I think that 2 days for a chapter to come out, is a lot. So don't stress about it, my sister comes out with a chapter about once a week.
