Hi! i know you haven't updated in over a year but I just found and read this story and as a writer myself i understand how much reviews mean sooo here's mine! Firstly, I just recently watched GoldenEye...I'm a Sean Bean fan and have spent the past week or so watching as many of his movies as i can get my hands on. At first I only liked Alec's character because he was played by Sean Bean, but this story has made me really enjoy him as a character...someone other than Sean Bean. I really enjoyed reading what you have put together, honestly i was a little unwilling when i saw that it had been published in the early 2000's but i gave it a try and I'm glad I did. Anyways, sorry if it seems like I'm rambling...I just really wanted to tell you how amazing this story is/was.

I do apologize most sincerely for not reviewing as I went along - as is my wont - but the story picked me up and swept me along and I couldn't stop reading it! A remarkable story.

So, quick question, Janus came to be like an occassion of Dissociative Personality disorder? Sorry, I actually haven't watched or read anything of Bond, and only came over here from Elenhin's page... I'm learning as I go along.

WOW. You really are someone special. Picking one of my favorite characters, whom I have searched for stories with - Alec Trevelyan, played by the awesome Sean Bean. I spent half the night reading this story, but I could not help myself, it is SO GOOD!

Absolutely awesome and epic story! I was hooked from the moment I started reading this story. I particularly loved your characterizations - especially Alec's daughters as mini female version of him. I was especially amused at their hold up of Bond.

I can only hope that you will update this story one day (hopefully soon)!

Oh My God, Bond... he... ah that was hilarious. xD xD xD All through the meeting I was cringing and just screaming at how stupid and irrational his actions were but then Sabrina and... hahahaha... This story is absolutely amazing. I can't believe I almost mistook it for something terrible... D Reading onwards, and I have to say I love every character you've written so far.

God, usually being a reader of slash fics, and someone with avid contempt for self-insert/Mary-Sue characters, when I found this fic tagged with Alec/OC I admittedly sailed straight past this story onto others I thought would be more interesting.

But damn, once I started reading your story I just simply couldn't stop. The way you've crafted your OCs - Sebastian and 002, they're amazingly complex and lovable. Your writing style is excellent, and the way you've woven this mystery and aaaaaaaah this is a brilliant fic. I'm so sorry for pre-judging it as something it's not. Looking forward to reading more. This is an incredibly engrossing story... You write excellent OCs.

Cannot believe it ends like this? Have checked the date - over a year ago since this chapter. Please, please do not leave this amazing story without a proper ending. I love fanfic but so often it can be very sad and disappointing when a really good thriller like this is just left unfinished, no explanations as to why, I always feel let down.

Dear Lady Deb, while I love your "Champions" series, I hope you didn't forget Alec and James?

You left us guessing and wondering; and you left us for a very long time. Were they so stubborn? The last update was a YEAR ago. Please, I beg you, don't abandon this story, it is too good.

This is truly an amazing story!

It would have been cool to if this was actually a James Bond film, maybe the last one for Pierce Brosnan to star in before Casino Royale...it would have been cool to see Sean Bean return...love the guy...

But that aside, this is one of the few stories I have read that makes me heart jumping with fear, anticipation, and excitement...everytime I think that James has had it all figured out and that he and Alec would have a man's talk and get it over with...the story twists so that more trouble ensues...and it is believable too...I can totally imagine James in fear and confusion, not being able to keep his mouth shut and cause big trouble...and I also like how you dealt with his character dealing with the emotional baggage of the years-long incident...something like this can even sent the toughest and best of MI6 over the edge and I can believe that because especially after seeing Casino Royale, you know that Bond does care, but after heartbreaks and betrayls, he really didn't know where to turn for help except to bottle it all up inside and be the good little agent MI6 expects of him, I guess they forget that he is very much like Alec in this story...scared, confused, frustrated, and feeling guilty over something that he had no control over...something that Janus won't let him easily forget...but unlike Alec, James retaliates against all these emotions because he's afraid of being hurt again, afraid that if he lets them through his armor, they will only betray him...

This is really an amazing and engaging story...I can understand both sides of story...as much as Janus creeps me out...at least we know what his intentions are...I am somewhat bitter and angry at the way everyone's being acting toward James as if he's some great big superhero that they expect to understand everything and take in everthing easily...they are blinded by what they see, the cocky and arrogant appearance that James use as a cover, couldn't they see past the fact that someone needs to hold James as much as Alec needed, that he needed sympathy from someone the way Alec does, for someone to tell him that it's okay to dropt the act and show them what he feels...I felt like that James is about to blow up from all this burden dumped on him...I wish that they could see the scared little boy hoping and waiting for someone to tell him that it's okay to scream and cry because he deserves it just like Alec...

I like how the way you wrote the characters and I hope that maybe when this is all over, all the characters will have a new fresh look on the that was once cocky and arrogant, the man that seemed to be nothing to them, maybe they can finally see the real James Bond that was shattered and lost in the past when he lost Vesper and Alec...before Casino Royale and Goldeneye changed him...hopefully they will see the man behind the rough armor and come to respect and love him...

And I think a civilized conversation between Alec and James is in order don't you...I don't think I want to listen to those two carp at each other all day...

As I said before, this story is truly great and please update soon, I like to see how this all turns out!

March? Your last update was in March? Lordie, you've gotta update this story. It totally rocks! Whilst I never really had a problem with seeing Alec as a villian (though I'm not saying you did), Its nicer to see him as a loving husband and wife. Who just happens to suffer from a personality problem caused from mental and physical torture. That aside, you really put some major effort into this storyline; All of ths characters were defined and completely compelling, Alec's daughters were a riot, especially Sabrina and her water pistol (James will never live it down).

I think my favorite Original Character is Sebastian Miller, Alec's sucessor in the 006 status, among others, but he's my fave. I also liked how you handled everyone's point of view when concerning Janus or Alec's, it never felt as though you were ragging on James Bond or anyone else because they tended to believe Alec was 100% traitor of England and the Queen, and you didn't over-do other characters disdain towards James and co.'s regard toward Alec, when they knew an entirely different person than the one James cares to remember so fondly with hatred/hurt.

As for the rest of the story; The torture scenes were actually scary to the point where I cringed whenever they were mentioned or described. Good lord, that was just "evil" what they did to him in this story. And I surely do hope Alec conjures his problems with Janus and James. Either that, or put a better Leash on Janus, the violent bugger.

Whether or not its "offical version" flaoting about online, you should really listen to Chris Cornell's "Casino Royale" Theme, "YOU KNOW MY NAME." It rocks, at the least the version I heard (which was all rock with a faint orchestra playing in the background). I think of this stoy whenever I hear it.
