 Truckee Gal chapter 1 . 5/13/2018 It took the threat of losing Amanda's affections to another man to cause Lee to admit he really cares for her as more than a colleague or friend. Dotty gave Amanda a great insight when she said both Lee and Amanda "light up" when they see each other. After much hither and thither, Lee bucked up his courage and went to her house bearing flowers, contrition and love. There, Lee kissed Amanda three times: properly, purposefully and passionately. That brought to my mind a line from Lewis Carroll's "The Hunting of the Snark" (1876): "What I tell you three times is true." Congratulations on weaving together a beautiful and intricate story that stayed true to our beloved characters. It's easy to imagine this as a two-part S&MK episode. A pity you wrote only two stories. |
