I can't see why Hermione or Ron never realized anything... I mean, they are Harry's best friends... But I suppose they can so easily put everything off as being something related to Voldemort... And that's allready so bad, that they might not see the other bad things... Even knowing Harry had to sleep in a cupboard for yyears and was treated pretty bad (and IS still) by his relatives, it's just a fact, you try to help... but you can't actually if you are a teenager, too, just a kid... So probably Harry's friends know a bit about what's up, but can't DO much there...

And YES, if you are an abused kids in any way, it's even later darn hard to realize it never was your fault or that you are worth something... and even if you DO know it intellectually, it's still not something you beliee deep down, you can FEEL is true...

ouch, IU am actually liking Dumbledore, and don't think he is that bad... But even I have to admit he made a lot of mistakes... Still, why filling the penseive with DRACO'S memorys too? dumbledore REALLY could not jhave known anything... As it is many kids who are hurt in their family never get discoverd as such... and surely not by somebody who is not near to them at all... Dumbledore can't watch over the well-being of over 200 children, exspecially when they are NOT at school...

And if SNAPE knew, and he aparently DID,how can Draco even SOMEHOW trust him then?
