I have to say, I have never seen a Rikku done with such a broad personality, but that is one of the things I love about your stories: you can make any character, no matter how comparatively flat, into a believable and sympathetic human being, even if, like Penelo, they have practically np significance to the actual plot (I really liked what you did with her by the way: I both laugh at and feel sorry for your portrayal of her). Anyway, back to the story. I have to say, I did always wonder about Gippal's eye patch. Couldn't quite work out if it was just for show or if he really did only have one eye. I wonder if he really did lose it thanks to blitzball or if that was just a joke... Anyway, at some point, I seem to remember Rikku mentioning she knew what love was, or something like that, and thinking it probably had to be Gippal. I do wonder why she lets him walk all over her though... Poor Rikku. I just want to hug her now. She's so naive and dippy, and quite clearly in denial, but I can see why she doesn't want to let go of the past. I found her relationship with Tidus really sweet though, especially his proclivity to come to her defence. I can't believe Gippal keeps managing to get away with the 'bambie' comment though. If I was Rikku I'm pretty sure I'd have socked him one by now. When you were building up for Rikku to walk in on Gippal and mystery girl, I have to say, I thought the catch was going to be that it was someone she knew, like Paine or someone (as unlikely as that seems), so you really threw me with the generic NPC route. Thanks for not being predictable. I don't think I could have guessed that in a million years. Finally, I should probably mention I've changed my username from rebekah. 97, since I made my account on my phone using my facebook account and wasn't aware it would pick my name for me. And then once it had, it wouldn't let me change it. Couldn't think of anything mord original than CheekyChocobo, but I though the avatar does look pretty cheeky. And cute. God bless the wonderful creation of chocobos. Anyway, keep up the fantastic work. This story, as with all your others, compels me to keep reading until there is nothing left, even when I'm travel suck on a coach (worst form of transportation ever!) Also, since my phone won't let me skip lines, I have to use the space bar like a million times, so I hope that hasn't messed anything up. I usually just make it one huge paragraph, but I find it loses fluency. Sorry for the ridiculously long review, and the inevitable tangents I ran off on. I often fail to stick to the original point, that being this story, and the many ways in which I think it is great. Just have to favourite it now.

Because I'm fine with waiting a year or so for an update just so long as I know its coming xD (its really depressing to check in on one of your favourite stories some months later and see that its on an indefinite hiatus, and that's happened to me a few times :C) LOVING this fic, so I'm hoping it will be continued. I've always been a really big fan of the rikkal(my lame attempt at combining their names) paring and you make it down right hilarious! I'll be on the look out for an update! First of all let me start by saying that I never read the first story so don't think that i'm doing a comparison. Euhm I read a lot of good things in your story like how you make fun of the stereotipical plot when it comes to rikku x gippal. Though I must say that I am guilty of writing some stereotipical stories too. Still I got a good laugh out of that one. I also find that you have a great way of limiting yourself to rewriting just the story. By this I mean that the personality translates wonderful into your plot. So there's really nothing bad to say about the story but I do got one remark about the lay out. Sometimes when you get to discriptions, you really discribe everything in great detail which is great. yet when you put it al that close to each other it gets confusing and I kinda get lost into details instead of concentrating on the story. I wouldn't want you to take those parts out BUT maybe you could see to it that those parts get a little bit more spacing? anyways I really enjoyed the first chapter and I'm moving on to the second! keep up the good work.

Vixen, darling! :D I made it through these very long chapters of mingled hilarity and Rikku-issues and Gippal-issues and...I'm afraid this won't be one of my long, detailed reviews because this story was so very long that if I had copied and pasted each part I laughed hysterically at, this would be like a ten-page review. But you gave me something to read (and think about) while I was ill today and I'm glad I had time to read it. I wasn't sure, when I started, if it would exactly be my type of story (all the man-whoring, you know, not really my cup of tea) BUT there are obviously so many issues that both Gippal and Rikku have (and Gippal, I think, uses sex to avoid issues and Rikku uses...well, all her glorious Rikku-ness which you portray so very well).

Ahem.

Anyway, it's completely obvious that Rikku and Gippal are head over heels for each other and the way you write their relationship is so insane and twisted and *gasp* like so many real life situations! :D And oh my goodness, Rikku's father...*dies laughing* You are a genius, have I told you that before? How many authors delve into farts and dumps and burps and all the normal human family situations (though I admit, Pops sure has taken it to the extreme...)
