legomaster00156 chapter 1 . 6/14/2010 That was beautiful. I loved it, and you dd well to keep the High King in-character. Good work. |
Whitetree-Nimloth chapter 2 . 5/25/2009 Wow. Had to review this, especialle this second part, because finding something so short that pleases me is just so rare. I think that this small thing is wonderfully poetic. The blend of those two 'voices'- one remembering Narnia, the other in the 'now' of wha's actually happening- is very well done. You feel as if you could read each one apart and yet, they're so well linked that, well, it really sounds good; a word now about the first part, which was also very good. You definetely have a style that I like. It is a bit melancholic but yet, there's Hope. Like in that vision of Aslan at the end. |
asinine chapter 1 . 7/3/2008 I cannot possibly tell you how much I enjoyed this. The image of Peter sitting at his desk, staring out in thought, and then the whole narrative that stems from that... oh, my goodness, you are truly an amazing writer. :) There are so many lines from this that I like! And it's nice to see someone write about Peter when he's at the university, because it's something I've always wondered about. You did fantastic! |
Pinky Penguin chapter 1 . 5/24/2008 OMG! YOU TOTALLY BLEW ME AWAY! seriously, this is awesome! i loved it... aw i feel so nostalgic! poor peter |
Aranel Abeille chapter 2 . 11/20/2007 The first chapter is gorgeous. it nearly made me cry- especially this: "He remembered what Aslan promised, that he would learn to know Him by another name on Earth, and he goes to church each Sunday. When he is eighteen he feels that same power, that same love, that same joy surge and plunder through his heart and soul and he knows in that moment he is tasting his home." Because... I can't even describe it. that's how I feel about Narnia and about Aslan. Just yes. yes, yes, yes. the second chapter is altogether a different style, a different feel- but wonderful nonetheless. well done! |
lightsabermaster chapter 2 . 8/23/2007 That was very beautiful. Thanks for writing it! :) -LM |
Almyra chapter 1 . 10/29/2006 Ah, this is lovely. So very well written, and you make Peter's acceptance of Christ realistic and his memories of Narnia believable and clear. I am glad to see you have him studying history as his main subject - in an AU of mine I was struggling to come up with a suitable job for Peter, and finally I thought of archivist/historian for the same reasons you have here. It brings him close to his memories, and allows him to apply what he's learned. Glad to see someone else thinks the same. Excellent story. |
trecebo chapter 2 . 7/8/2006 Interesting take on the crash and the moments of between. Vivid, again, that word appears. But it fits. This is a good piece. |
trecebo chapter 1 . 7/8/2006 Very excellent visuals both physical and mental. You paint a good portrait of post-Narnia Peter and his thoughts and actions before the Last Battle age. |
elecktrum chapter 2 . 6/3/2006 Yeowza! That ending was like a punch to the jaw. I absolutely did not expect that and it was fantastic. It's so completely different from the chapter before in every way. This is one of the best things written about the Chronicles of Narnia I have ever read. Many thanks for sharing it. |
elfchicks chapter 2 . 3/25/2006 Incredible. |
CryinCindyLouWho chapter 2 . 12/25/2005 Why Santy Claus? Why did Peter get hit by a train? |
