Intresting...

Not many people wanna think about death.

Death by old age.

They want the rush, the glory.

Not a slow wind down.

It was very thought provoking.

I liked this one too. I got a bit boring at parts, but still very cool. You're a good author.

One concern I think you've should have done is the POV's of the storyline. When it was Sonic's POV, I think it should have been in italics or bold. Then when you narrate it, its in normal font. Then, it wouldn't have been as confusing as when I read.

Other than that, I liked this it.

I must say, I'm quite impressed. Usually, I read a fanfic with the intent of looking for positive and negative points I'd like to bring up in the review I write up after I'm finished reading. However, this is one of the few stories I've read that has managed to make me forget about doing that, and instead sucks me into the story and makes me feel like I'm right there with the characters. For an experimental piece, it's quite good.

There was only one thing I didn't like. The transition from the flashback at the start to 50-year-old Sonic's point of view was kind of hard to see at first, and I nearly missed it.

Apart from that though, the fanfic as a whole was nearly flawless. My favorite aspect of this fic is how you took an interesting and unexpected idea for a plot and made it work great. Overall, spectacular job.

O.O Wow... That's just... WOW. One hell of a way to hammer home the reminder of everyone's mortality and the possible horrors one might face in life. So yeah... As I said; wow.
