hajimebassaidai chapter 1 . 4/27/2010
I like the balance here, where Rodney isn't either a superhero or a complete wimp. The thought processes that he went through were well considered and I like him trying to figure out what would John do when John was thinking the other way while trying to cripple the city. That Elizabeth is what grounds him was very well done and links in nicely to the fact that in a few minutes he stepped in between her and a gun about to fire.
Mondhase chapter 1 . 8/16/2006
Just read the fic and think it's amazing. Some storys about this scene kind of exaggerate the whole thing, but this one was so realistic, it was almost frightening. Poor Rodney, but I've always been sure, that it must have been bad, or else he whouldn't have talked. Great work!
Fanwoman chapter 1 . 6/21/2005
Love how he's thinking a million different fragmented yet related thoughts in the middle of it all; it's the way I think his thinking process would/did work. Plus, structurally, beginning and ending with the same element was lovely. Thank you! More, please.
nightpheonix chapter 1 . 5/22/2005
WOW! I've read several other fics about this scene, and this is by far the best! You captured Rodney perfectly with the sarcastic commentary. This really fits in perfectly with the episode. great job!
fanficaddict chapter 1 . 2/5/2005
Marvelous! *standing ovation* Loved it, thank you!
Maching-Monkey chapter 1 . 10/8/2004
That was *fantastic!* I loved your characterization of Rodney and his inner voice, but most of all I loved the details. It was heartbreaking and very, very chilling. I think I'll keep this in mind as the missing scene of what went on...

Thank you.

Andy chapter 1 . 9/26/2004
Excellent work. Great characterization of McKay.
smushybird chapter 1 . 9/20/2004
I think you did a fantastic job of characterization. McKay's thoughts felt true to the character and he was utterly sympathetic. Really lovely. I enjoyed it immensely.
Michelle chapter 1 . 9/20/2004
That was wonderful. A very intelligent, well-written, detail filled look at what happened to McKay, and what went through his mind. Thank you for sharing it. I hope you find lots of inspiration in this fandom.
NotTasha chapter 1 . 9/20/2004
Excellent story! Great insight into what went on in that room while we were away. Great stuff
Karabdai chapter 1 . 9/19/2004
This is a great story! I just got into reading SGA stuff. I really like how you portrayed McKay. He's definitly become my favorite over that last few shows. I like how you showed his thought processes over the entire ordeal! Great work!
aaeryn chapter 1 . 9/19/2004
Jaya-

I really enjoyed this fic! It made a great missing scene from the time in the ep during Weir's absence. I think you got McKay's character spot-on, in both thoughts and actions. I like to think he ut up at least a little bit of resistance during his "interrogation", and your version is very plausible.

Nice job!

Wolf Maid chapter 1 . 9/19/2004
Wonderful! This is a brilliant story, I absolutely love it! I was thinking about that "missing scene," and I love the way you wrote it! Poor McKay... ) I can't wait until January! You're a wonderful writer!
Erikstrulove chapter 1 . 9/19/2004
WOW! Thats not the end is it? Poor McKay, I wondered after watching the show how they tortured him, it didn't /seem/ like a serious wound, so I wondered how John and Weir would react to that...

They should rewrite the episode with your story.
Erisinia chapter 1 . 9/19/2004
*claps* Bravo! Well done! Huzzah for Rodney. Someone was being all scornful about how he'd squealed at 'just a little knife scratch'. I spluttered incoherantly. :
