Hm, I like it! The story was real good in development and it was just great. The setting and the direction the story went to was awesome too, developed greatness. Sure, maybe a little OOC at the end, but I wouldn't say that it would be OOC given the circumstances, so wahtever! The ending part was fabulous!

Hm, usually, I'm always rather sceptic when it comes to what I call "Americanized" fanfiction. I can't really explain the term- the 'date' at the ice cream parlour, the truck causing the accident, the amnesia... All this creates an atmosphere that so strongly resembles an American romance movie (I'd suggest Julia Roberts and Richard Gere for the cast, if the latter is still alive) that it normally causes me to develop a healthy portion of distrust in the fic.

To cut a long story short, this fic here is a very pleasant exception. Especially the descriptions of Ruki's longing for, as you called it, normalcy, are very accurate and understandable.

In so far as spelling and grammar are concerned, see my review for "Running"- the same applies to this fic. The only permanent mistake I found was the letter twist in "Mei" Matsuki, which should of course be "Mie", but that's about it.

Alright... the song... For the sake of harmony, I shall not display my disrespect for Evanescence right now (*mutters* cheap Nightwish copycats … *blinks* uh… sorry.) I must, however, admit that the lyrics fit into the story very appropriately. Or, in other words, despite the fact that you implemented Never-a-sense- uh, I mean Evanescence- lyrics into the fic, you made them tolerable even for me by composing a very delighting fic around them, which is quite a big achievement.

I never got the personalities of any of the characters to the show right in my fanfictions anyway...except Davis. That's only cause Davis and I happen to ahve things in common, which is a scary thought. Okay, that's about it. Again, good story
