Very different from the way I imagine Trip's past and his family, but intriguing and very well written. I liked ho you showed Archer, Malcolm, and T'Pol, along with others in the Enterprise crew, as Trip's new family.

Thanks for this nice story! I must confess I have a hard time following stories that stretch over such a long period of time, but I do understand that it must be difficult to keep the inspiration going! I hope you will post more adventures with the Ent crew, you write very well.

I just found this, to be perfectly honest I was jsut expecting a good yarn in which kiddies reconciled with parents and all was right in the world.

I couldn't have been more wrong, this is an excellent story touching, moving, funny, it's fantastic and it kinda reminded me of something I once heard:

They fuck you up, your Mum and Dad

They may not mean to but they do

They fill you with the faults they had

And add some extra, just for you...

Oh, this is so moving. I'm thoroughly enjoying the story, but I do wonder what's happening with Hoshi and her parents. I like what you're doing with the guys, though - Malcolm, Trip, Jon, and Travis (even though he has no parent there, I'm glad he's included in the events). Your characterizations are in keeping, as well. I'm looking forward to your next update.

Another interesting chapter, particularly with Mike's straight talking to Archer, and I liked the touches of humour.

The tiny moments of humour really make this very serious story come alive, become realer. Archer hitting Porthos with the ball. Malcolm telling his dad about the model.

Your bit with Malcolm and his dad made me laugh. The faux civil conversation - lovely, nicely done.

Ouch re: Trip and his father. What's up there? I have to read on, I know...

I loved Malcolm's letter to his parents. Kind of says it all, doesn't it?

Great job Rinne! I'm looking forward to the next chapter. You've already used Travis more than he was used in all of Season 3! Travis and Forrest floating around the "Sweet Spot" - great image!

This is a very good story. It gets from humorous to emotional in just a few lines. I loved the little scene with Malcolm and his father!
