My name is Jack. Just want to let you know how much I appreciate your Gen13 story "A New Era". I have been a fan of the comic book since it came out, and even though I moved on from it a long time ago, I am always fond of new interpretations and ways of portraying Caitlin, Roxy, Grunge etc. It's hard to find fanfic that really stands out, and I think yours is a little unconventional enough that I had to take notice. It's rare for Caitlin to be portrayed as having any same-sex feelings even in canon, this is the only fic that I at least know of that at least tries to do so, albeit in a roundabout way.

The only quibble I have is that I wish it was made more clear how emotionally manipulative Ivana was. It is very clear from outset that Baul had/has an ulterior motive for using Caitlin, and that aspect seemed to fade as the focus shifted to their romantic relationship. I think we would've seen a lot more of that if the story continued, but it would've been nice to see things from Ivana's point of view. It's clear that she's using Caitlin as a tool in more ways than one, and to see that culminate in some way would have been satisfying to see.

A shame I liked. This story

while I'm not to deep in the Gen13 mythos.I was more of a Gen X fan at the time the story is nice. Well till its next update later.

Wow, that was quick (yay!), and right in character - Gen13 wasn't exactly big on subtlety, except perhaps for Sarah.

Cool little story, I was just a bit upset the way the first Gen13 comic was brought to an end (why do my favorite comics so often seem to end up canceled or radically changed beyond comprehension or recognition?). I know it's unlikely you'll get back to this after a couple of years (and only three other comments), but I'd certainly cheer if you did.

I used to love this comic! Anyway..I really enjoyed this story. It was funny and as usual you make the characters your own! It's amazing to me how you can write so many different stories, series, and always keep them in character. Genius, you really are one:)
