I had a brief alternate divergence idea thing where when Janet is telling Sam everything Sam cuts in that she DID have plans, to visit her brother and niece and nephew who she hasn’t seen in years... Just imagine Janet and Jack’s “oops” face when they heard that... and the ensuing grovelling XD |

| hedwiggins chapter 13 . 2/5/2008 I really love this story. The bickering between Jack and Sam is priceless. And to find out the whole taking care of Jack was because of a fake injury - well, I'm not too sure what to say about that. It was funny until Sam got hurt for real. And I can't believe Janet really took part in it, even if it was in Sam's best interest. And Janet didn't even apologize; she wasn't even embarrassed about her part in it. Guess I would wind up appreciating that my friends cared that much about me, but I think I'd seriously make them squirm a lot more before I forgave them. |

| dyslecksec chapter 14 . 8/26/2006 Excellent and humorous story, great twist. I know that if I were in Sam's position I'd be *insanely* pissed. Not for getting hurt, of course, but the manner in which they lied was incredibly manipulative. The reason for such deception is immaterial in my mind. Sometimes I think Sam is too forgiving (in the shows and fanfic), but I also recognize that's just part of who she is when it comes to those she cares about. So...bravo! ) |
