It doesn't look like this story is going to be finished and that's too bad because it's really well written.

It touches to the problems one can feel are going to arise at the end of the movie: people being wary of the NS-5 to the point of harming them, their status in human society, their possible (and even probable) evolution towards consciousness and Sonny's place in all that although it's obvious at the end of the movie, and you expressed it quite well, that he'll be a link between the robots and the humans.

I really hope that second movie will come out one day.
