I still love this story! I'd read it and the sequel years ago, and recently re-stumbled upon them. After re-reading I've come to the conclusion they're just as wonderful as I remember them to be!

Good story, but I really feel sorry for James (the one living in the past), I really found it was really cruel of fate to give Buffy back to him then take her away from him.

I think you've got me addicted. I started with this story, was forced to go back to the original, came back to re-read this story and then decided to trounce about your other written works. Needless to say, well done! I rather like the touch of both drama and humor that seem to weave a story like this perfectly together. You bring voices and personalities to characters that would otherwise have none. And you've convinced me that Dawn isn't the immature miscreant of the Buffy saga.

I very much adored the interaction between Jack and Dawn (namely her trying to hit him and it not exactly working out the way she had planned).

As well as her barely saving their necks by the skin of her teeth.

So yeah, wonderful chapter, and interaction with the characters. As well as the fact she wasn't just immediately helping him without a second thought. You've added moments and thoughts to the characters actions and reactions that helps develop them in ways you don't too often see in fanfiction. Huzzah! _

And so it continues... Hahaha. Now that we've gotten the ball rolling, as in, Dawn and Jack have finally met, I think it's safe to say that there is excitement abound. I can hardly contain my glee. When I saw the e-mail alert I screamed - seriously. That's how excited I was.
