so, i got this author alert in my inbox yesterday afternoon, when i was on campus... and it nearly KILLED me - because i wanted to jump up and down and shriek with excitement that you were ALIVE, but i couldn't very well do all that in the library, now could i? but even worse, i had to rush off to my classes, and then dinner with my friends, and then a meeting... so it was only an EXCRUTIATING 5 hours later when i could finally read the chapter! as if i wasn't already twitchy enough... ;)

but yes, gosh, it sure is wonderful to see something new from you, i must say. and what's this, worrying about your writing ability having deserted you? pish posh, i say! seems just as good, or even better than ever. and yes, i CAN accurately compare your previous and current writing, since i went back and read the earlier chapters to this fic to rehash my memory of what was going on, lol!

gotta say, the steamy vibes are still there, and as hot and sexy as ever. poor rogue though... you could really feel her confusion here. argh, stupid joseph! blaming and hating him is always a source of enjoyment for me, so yay for that. now, i'm VERY curious to see where things'll head next... throwing an emotionally fragile rogue together with an intrigued and stubborn cajun is always a recipe for some rather combustible conversations! and maybe MORE than conversations? wink wink, nudge nudge... ooh, i really can't wait to find out. here's hoping you won't keep us hanging for long, pretty please? :)
