Well this will never be updated from the looks of it, and you will never read this either perhaps, but it's so well written and compelling I just had to leave something of a review. If I thought you would read it, I would leave a far longer one but for now, I'll just say that this is excellent and Amayami is quite the character!

You've written such a beautiful story! The constant push-and-pull between Touga and Maya is really engaging, and I find myself wincing when I remember this wonderful duo isn't meant to last. For shame, Touga! I love the way you've written your Amayami. She's strong, and yet sometimes very fragile, and her razor-sharp wit and quips make me adore her more. I hope you write more on this story! .

I have been obsessively following this story since the moment I read the first paragraph. While still keeping to the frame of the cannon story, you have created an original and believable story that is utterly devoid of predictability. The foreshadowing is delicious. My only criticisms are that you need to mind your pronouns, because you accidentally mix them, and to check your grammar overall [it's little things, but it fractures the otherwise pleasant flow]. While I understand what you mean on the whole, some of the implied exposition is a bit vague [please note that if a full explanation is forthcoming, I revoke this last comment].

I am anxious to read the next installment, and look forward [after I get some sleep] to read more of your work. Thank you for being awesome and a refreshing well of talent.

Wow. This was amazing. Great job. I just happened to find this story by luck. I'm not going to beg you to update or anything, just tell you how amazing a writer you are. You managed to make the characters so real. They have layers, just like real people do. The reason I enjoyed this story so much was because it wasn't just a prefect pretty painting of rainbows. A real bond was developing between Touga and Amayami. This puts this fanfiction miles before others (unfinished or not). Love isn't just this wonderfully perfect thing that has one bump in the road that lead to a happy/tragic ending. The whole thing is meant to be a test of how much you really care about this other person. This is present in your writing.

The characters aren't one-dimensional. They seem real. There isn't too much dialogue or too little. The story is easy to read and understand.
