The story looks to be picking up now so I can't wait for the next chapter! Her mom seems mean. This fic could use a sprinkling of some coupleness though. You know Romy and Lancitty type stuff. I also wouldn't mind if Shiva got to know Kurt better if you know what I mean . Amanda will understand.

Catgirls are by far the most popular form for an original character in the X-Men fandom (evo, movie, comic). I would love to know the appeal of them.
A lot of the introduction stuff with your character and the X-Men could have been done in one chapter. Instead you have gone five chapters without really getting to any story.
A new character bonding with Logan is so cliche.
At least you mentioned Amanda Sefton. Yeah for canon! It looked like this was going to be a Kurt Sue. So you get points for that. But I still have a bad feeling we will get lots of gooey Kurt bonding from the title. I'd rather read about Toad tripping over stuff than that.
A little nitpick. Evan is not tall. He is actually shorter than many of the characters on the show.

Please write more this look to be something good. :)
