I'm crying! This is so good. I realy love these kind of stories. My heart breaking. It's all I want from a story, and you have done all that. And you can write so good! I would love to write stories like yours, but sadly I'm not that good. Anyways, love your story, just wanted to say that. :D

Wow. What an extraordinary piece of work. I would never have expected a story like this to be so deeply thoughtful and so deeply felt, and near-perfectly executed as well. (And I only say that because, who's perfect?)

The effect of having the Joker stand outside himself while he stands judgement on himself is amazing effect and coupled with Batman's warped logic - that epic drama in a flat monotone - the whole becomes completely perfect. I really enjoyed reading this.

This was absolutely fantastic. I’ve read it twice since I discovered this link yesterday. This is such a powerful story you’ve shared. The flow of the writing is perfect, the imagery is vivid, and every character feels so real. Even the few paragraphs that Batman appears, you 100% feel the character. I just really enjoyed this story and I hope you are still writing because you are very, very talented. Thanks again for sharing. This is a definite favorite for me.

The interaction between him and Babs is great; between him and the Bat, even better. How wondrous that, in the end, they share the same dark morality.

Wow...jeez...wow. That was powerful. It's an interesting concept, and could have derailed into wangst, but you kept it in line wonderfully.

That was bleak in a good way :) It's quite unsettling to see how haunted he still is even though all he has to remember his old self by are vague flashbacks. Somehow he knows there's something wrong with him! Barbara's fear was very believable, too. And his attempts to put her at ease and apologise for his laughter were quite bittersweet.

Ep, that was very good, left me with the creeps too! He has almost an inkling of what he used to be, yet can't be quite certain about it. And as he tries gauging a reaction from others in his vicinity... And yikes, Batman's commentary in the end and him then agreeing to it, with what must've been bliss in his eyes.
