Your story left me speechless for a good minute after I read it. It's truly beautiful in a haunting, poignant telling of a man who cannot let go of his loved one who has passed away. The way you hinted at Heero's death throughout the story did foreshadow the end. However, seeing it in print was still quite shocking. That was when all the pieces fell together. The manner in which Duo perceives Heero is extremely touching. It makes the idea of your loved one living within your heart almost tangible. Thanks for sharing such a well-written story. _

it could be a random event that isn't part of the main story line. kinda like "narilko's story" by anne mccaffery. it was more of a side note than a major part of the series.
