Great fanfic, but didn't Hermione get Crookshanks in her third year?

Another cute lite story (and I can't understand where you are getting everything from). Hermione is taking the whole cat-thing with peace, and Crookshanks is thoughtful about it as well. It would be interesting to know if McGonagall ever herd of the little accident and offered some advice. After all, she should have a few points of experience to share as well.

And just as a by-note, the end of the late mr Pomfrey was tragic enough. Makes it plain why the ministry regulates the floo-network that rigidly.
