This is so bittersweet. I love how you captured the emotion. It's very realistic for Ryan to feel guilt, since he did add to her pain. I loved the last line.

That's such a sweet story...you built up the suspense because when I started reading it I was afraid that you had killed off her character, but you didn't! The story is really interesting and I think captures all the right emotions.
