At first, I was reluctant to read this because of how Rin was portrayed as this scorned woman who wants to sabotage her best friend's marriage and knowing Rin from canon, I couldn't see the similarities between the two. However, I decided to keep on reading just to see if it got any better and in some ways, it did. You managed to warm me up to her character in the sense that, in a world where Rin was spoiled, I can see her being petty and immature. Her conversation with Sesshoumaru was the first insightful side to her "love" for Inuyasha but since I can see you were trying to keep this story short and comedic, there was still a lack of depth to her backstory. For instance, what kind of background did she have that she would cling onto anyone who shows affection towards her?

Your sense of humor was the the central piece that kept me around. Rin's thoughts and her interactions with Sesshoumaru were great. But there were two things that kept popping out at me. Since these Japanese characters are originally established in a Japanese setting, using Caucasian names (ex: Claire, Veronica) pushes the reader out of the reading experience and using a Westernized beauty standard (tall, blonde, etc.) makes things feel even more out of place.

Secondly, I had to stop here because of the sudden epiphany of "love" that Rin had for our secondary protagonist here. For so long, she's been despising Sesshoumaru (even if it wasn't true contempt) and obsessing over Inuyasha so for that to suddenly stop and become love for the other brother? At this stage, it's more of - Oh, maybe I /do/ enjoy your presence from time to time but love...? Not quite. Additionally, she did not even know that she loved Inuyasha in a different way than she had believed until the recent confrontation with Sesshoumaru (I don't believe she even came to terms with it yet?) so as far as her relationships are going, things have moved fast, far too quickly for her epiphany to be believable.

It has been many years since you've written this though so maybe the way you'd go about things now would be much different.

Oh gosh great ending great story I hope you still read your reviews it was a real pleasure and seriously if you click the complete option on the search engine guess what? You lose like 2/3rds of the stories that means that literally around only 30% of stories authors finished so it may not have been what you wanted but it was perfect! Good job

Great story! But the ending was rushed- I get it though. I wish you had written the intimate details, the wedding, and the pregnancy.
