I think using spellcheck would be to your (any writer's) benefit. After enough chapters, small errors with spelling, grammar, and misuse of terminology/phrases will catch up.

The concept and plot development was interesting, so points there. (Although I was a little dismayed to find out why my confusion over Kaminari was not lining up with my suspicions of his character, identity, etc.)

You wrote this character recap quite well - often, too many FF authors waste a chapter with retelling a past scene in a different character's point of view, but lack the talent to convey it much differently. This was well executed and not repetitive in revisiting each moment through Inuyasha's eyes, rather than Kagome's. Brava.

As I had hoped, the issue remarked upon in my first review has been overshadowed by the even greater interest of a intriguing plot twist.
I assume the prior matter may have simply been an autocorrect issue.

The summary for this story is what caught my attention. However, the continual misspelling of simple terms like "whining" and ALL of its variants is making me wonder if the rest of the story is written with the same carelessness.
Even some of the best plots are made to look like a juvenile attempt when poor grammar and the like is left unattended.

As the rest of your writing seems to be better, I will continue and cross my fingers that any plot intrigue might outweigh the rocky start.

I thought the plot was pretty good and original but in terms of consistency and characterisation...
My god, Kagome in this story is as dumb as you get. She's meant to be fierce and intuitive! The way she feels ashamed instead of angry when other girls talk shit about her, how she doubts inuyasha when he tells her that kaminari has been feeling her up, and esp during the kidnapping scene... Almost died of frustration there.
She's lying on the bed about to be sacrified and she thinks about how perfect kaminari's body is?! She feels bad for him even though he killed shippou's parents AND is trying to sacrifice her? She even touches his head to comfort him. That's just a mess - unrealistic and out of character

Also i hated how nonchalant everyone was about rape and sexual harrassment. Esp at the end, kaminari is about to rape her and kagome's "mesmerised". Inu also touches her breasts in her sleep and it was made so trivial.

Ugh, i know that that's a lot of criticism, and i'm sorry, but it annoyed me. Your idea with Hiten was pretty fantastic though and it was refreshing to read something original.

I thought this was a rather clever story. I was absolutely clueless as to who Kaminari was but it all came together rather quickly, almost like a punch to the face. Aha

I actually really liked Kaminari's character. I thought he was a weirdo in the beginning but the way he's described and that adorable arrogance made him likable especially when you have insensitive Inuyasha being a jerk to Kagome all the time. You just want to see the girl happy, you know. But of course he turns out to be a complete lunatic. Kagome's choices in men... Lol

Very touching story, however I'm completely curious to the legend Kaminari spoke of. Inuyasha and Kagome never actually living together happily but instead Kikyo and Inuyasha with the assumption of Kagome's loveless death. Ouch. Now that she's going to be focused on the quest will the legend as Kaminari stated come true? A sequel could definitely happen especially since the guy is still alive and crazy as ever!
