You've really done a great thing here, with the ice imagery. And you write a good Bobby. Not just some joker, but a real guy, with actual feelings.

Some strange romantic thing in my head rather wishes this could happen, just so JP could smile for once. But it's nice to see I'm not the only one.

Well, one thing that can be said about the story you tried to ruin with the unredeemable drabble of the pairing is that the story is decent. Any other pairing might have made it worth reading.

am loving this. a huge thumbs up. we sound pretty similar. i too stopped reading a while back due to storylines/pencillers (yes, i am a snob, lol)/character development that disagreed with me. out of curiosity i looked back in on the fandom and positively squeaked when i found out they'd brought jp into the fold. the slasher in me is smiling so damn hard at the whole bobby/jp idea and we can only hope that they take it up a notch in canon. but yes, i prattle on, this fic? yes, yes. M likes. i look forward to reading more! )
