Much,MUCH , better than ‘Endgame’s ending in canon. Why on Earth can’t we have a human moment as the finale? After all, the whole point of the show was that they spent seven YEARS trying to reach “human central” ! Bravo - excellent wrap up.

I love the point of views... and I think you were pretty much spot on, except Neelix's as he left in Homestead...but if he stayed then I agree with your story. I was sad when Kes left but each of the Star Trek crews had 9 main characters with 6 male 3 female as a general rule, but I wanted Kes to stay too.

Good story. Maybe she would not have done all that, but surely she would show some intimate gesture to him?

Wow. This was a great story. I was crying (Not sobing-crying, just tears-crying) by the end. Untel "the kiss". Then I was laughing (but still crying). Tom's reaction was so predictable. Kathryn's was not. I really expected her to tell Tom to shut up. GREAT STORY! I LOVED IT!

I heartily agree with your initial supposition. Who cares How they get home? Sure, that'll be interesting, but not the most important part. The Journey to and from the DQ, and the emotions and attachments are what compels us to tune in each week. Now I'm left to wonder what my Home Again fiction would look like. Probably because I'm a guy, there'd be some techno babble and it would be tempered by a sprinkling of emotions. Thanks :)
