Omega Gilgamesh chapter 42 . 4/17/2005
Good god, I'm FINALLY done reading this virtual extended novel! Now, NOW, I can get to that Moment of Discord fanfic.
Omega Gilgamesh chapter 38 . 4/17/2005
I was hoping to only review the last chapter, but I had to add this before I forgot. That last scene was pretty good, and I was actually impressed by that subtle touch of the sun going down right at that moment. Great thinking there.
Robshi chapter 42 . 9/13/2004
That was a weird ending. I thought Fedrich was going to die halfway through, and somehow he survives with no explanation. I find it hard to picture Puck pulling off a speech like that. None of his buzzwords or attitude made it in there. He put them in the royal family? How can he do that? He could have built a statue for them, he could have doubled their pay, given them a special title, but no.

Nice to see Ruthy and Fedrich back together at the end. Although I'm surprised Illis wasn't there without a weapon of some kind. Fedrich needed to be taught a lesson!

Good story though, although it was an abrupt ending to it. I suppose you now have the time to take a look at the Sentinel, something I really need to update.

Hope to hear from you soon!
Drake Crimson chapter 41 . 9/12/2004
A duel you say, I will meet your katana with my Bardiche. Oh, I forgot to say one thing...

I know a few things about temporal mechanics, but I have a feeling you know alot too.

1. Had they changed the past, there would not have been any time for them to create a stable time loop, or something of the sort to keep them intact, they would have instantaniously been overwriten.

2. Why was there a burmecian in the time patrol thingy whatever? Didnt it say that a few survived in the new timeline? so that leads me to think that none would have survived.

Oh and about the sequel, you could always have one of them go crazy, escape the bubble, and Wreak havoc on gaia.

Terraguy chapter 42 . 9/12/2004
Wow! I can't believe it's over! I loved this story!

Lemme do one last look at your story. Please forgive me if I repeat my words.

You use details fabulously, and your storyline is great. It was very hooking, and a catcher.

Now, going to what I spoke about your first summary, maybe you didn't do exactly that, but you did beautifully in tying the stories together. Especially loved the part about Iron-Tail and Tribal at end and how you tied it all together.

Well, I guess its time to sign off from this fabulous fic. If you're aspiring to be a writer, I would say you would do great. Love to see your next work.

Signing off,

Terraguy

And so it ends, not with a bang but with a whisper

I feel so warm inside, because i loved the ending. And the last line of the Author Rants, but i prefer, The pen is mightier than the sword you say? Ok meet me on the battlefield, i shall bring a katana, you a biro, lets duel!

I worked out earlier on that you didnt know where to go with the phantom, because like you said the original story itself was good enough.

Im not the greatest ff9 fan ever but i thought Puck was a bit out of character on the epilogue, i mean, hes a little rogue with towny, territorial linguistics, not an english graduate from harvard U, but was funny to hear him talk like that anyway

Its a shame the story had to end, but you finished it perfectly

I shall be looking out for your future works

I tip off my hat to you

Forever and Always

Robshi chapter 40 . 9/12/2004
Surely anyone would have the courage to say goodbye? What a moron. I wonder if he'll survive if Illis catches him? And what is Ruthy going to do?

Good stuff, although a little hard to believe. Moving on to the last chapters...and I really need to update my fic...
Drake Crimson chapter 42 . 9/11/2004
Bravo, Excillent, I couldn't think of a better way to end it. This so surpasses my own skills, and you will definately be ranked up with those authors like Al Kristopher.

I agree with your notion that they drew the 'short stick' and hated that part of the game. Even though it is my number one favorite game of all time. Well, X got a sequel, rather a bad one, but Square learns from their mistakes, maybe we will get one to.

Speaking of Sequels... Nah, maybe another time.

I cant believe its over, its like when an especially good movie or game, or book ends, your glad to finnaly see the ending, but at the same time, your depressed cause you wish it could have gone on forever.

Many Good Stories and Reviews, I'll keep watching.

J.L. Dexter chapter 42 . 9/11/2004
... And there you have it... the greatest Final Fantasy Legend in words. Shame that it is ending here after so long: an end to the dusty path less traveled. But it was quite an exilerating ride, from the mere beginnings of one young Burman trying to make his way in life to the cherished and honored Dragon Knight he became.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and among yours, the images portrayed in your story will always be a constant reminder of such dedication and perserverence. A wonderful novel to be sure. Great Job! And I hope there is more some day.

Perhaps you'll be kind enough to share with me those details over that celebratory drink. _~

Breeze of Summoners chapter 42 . 9/11/2004
When the Author Alert came saying "Epilogue", I just had to get off my butt and read all I had missed. School work couldn't stop me from reading this. What a ride! But it was an entertaining and awesome one all the way through.

I love your writing style... Description, characters, dialogue, suspence... You combine all of the good and slam it together into one of the best stories I have read on - And while that may seem like simple flattery, 'tis what I think! Each part was thrilling, full of awesome scenes and great characters. And these last few chapters held it as well. I'm disappointed that Fedrich lost... But hey, that's life, and a nice twist from what I THOUGHT would happen ;) Your originality in stories is just impressive.

Sure, you have your grammatical and spelling errors, but hey, they're nothing compared to mine *laugh*

Ultimately, the story was GREAT. Your writing skills are le awesome. If you write another Final Fantasy IX story, and an Author Alert comes for it... I will read it when I get the chance! As the Burman guard said, "Good day to you!"
Robshi chapter 39 . 9/8/2004
Forty eight points? Forty eight points? That's all he scored? That dope! That wasn't helped with Lani trying to kill him and Ivan knocking him out! At least Ivan had a pure motive for his victory...but I have a feeling he'll be seeing Lani again, very soon.

What's going to happen next? And will Fedrich compete in the hunt next year I wonder? Moving on...

And PLEASE review my story!
Robshi chapter 38 . 9/8/2004
I'm starting to catch up!

Aw...Fedrich and Ruthy share a cute romance scene. I hope this develops. You've been dawdling around the obvious for too long now.

Good stuff, moving on.
