That was awesome. I do want that story too but the ending made it okay not to have that story. If you want to write it though I will surely read it. *Goes to check if it is already written*

Jaely chapter 1 . 7/24
I’m going to be honest in this review, because I really did enjoy reading this story and feel there should be more fairytales out there that have two woman that love each other.

There was only two areas I thought needed work or addressing. Though there are so many things in this story to praise. The feel, rhythm, along with the general syntax of the story flowed just like a typical fairytale. So spot on there! You really did a great job of helping the reader acclimate to the new characters’ environment and the world they are in. These are just to name a couple if things I feel worked really well for the story and made it a good read.

What I would suggest taking a look at is that you have nice explanations going on in some places then in others you rush through information. I know you have a lot to get through in order to set up this new world, but at times the rushing is felt.

Now this issue isn’t so much as in it didn’t work as it is a personal issue I have with its continued use. Wolves being portrayed as mindless human eating monsters, that Will is willing to ambush a human and a perfectly healthy horse just because they are traveling through or near the woods. Though yes it fits within the theme of old time fairytales, people are more likely to get attacked by a bear than a pack of wolves. Even back in history there are more records of bear attacks on people than Wolf attacks. The thing is, when writers continue to spin narratives that show wolves, or any animal really, in a way that is negative and way off base; then they are unknowingly spreading misinformation. I spent years as an educator for wolf conservation and it is unfortunately this kind of portrayal we are fighting in the minds of those that know nothing else about the wolf and their behaviors.

The only time a wolf will try to get close to human let alone try to attack them, instead of run away, is if they are starving. It has been documented that during the hardest winters that it has been known for wolves to hunt and eat stranded humans in the wilds, and in some of the worse winters they would venture into camps if the people at the camp didn’t tend the fire throughout the night. But throughout all of those accounts the humans were easy pickings and the wolves were starving in the middle to end of winter.

It doesn’t matter if you change the story or not. It’s a really good story as is. I just wanted to pass on my knowledge for future thought and consideration.

Anyway, please take care and Be safe. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us!
MiniGeek chapter 1 . 7/24
I love this! Even though, I am like Cassidy and Caroline, I want to hear the rest of the story. As Paul Harvey would say. Maybe one day we will hear how Miranda and Andrèa defeated Stephen and Irv!
