Stan still runs for mayor, even as a twelve-year old... honestly, I can see him doing that. I kind of want to see where he would've gone with the knife speech if Dipper hadn't jumped in with the mind control tie... probably nowhere good.

And he still turns out to be a meme. I'm imagining a young Stan in that same pose. I also love how one of Dipper's concerns is that, "He's a meme! And that makes me a meme!"

I wonder how Stan and Ford would bond, though... Hmmmmmmmmm...

I think I'm going to have to draw a doggadillo now. An armadillo dog just sounds... adorable. And yeah, Mabel probably wouldn't make... a... uh... Sascrotch... oh gosh that sounds so wrong.

The memory of Ford and Mabel on the beach was so... bittersweet, I guess. Like, I loved that they were getting along and that it showed just how much they cared for each other, but knowing that they're going to be separated later just felt like a kick to the feels.

I wonder what sweaters for Mabel you're going to think of though. I have a feeling she'd have a dogadillo sweater, either before or after the Mystery Shack existed.

I saw the title of this fic and fell out of my chair. Then I looked at my screen again to make sure. Then I pinched myself to make sure I wasn't dreaming. And it's real! THANK THE AXOLOTL, IT'S REAL! I loved this AU when you wrote it in The many faces of the Author, and seeing it as another fic just totally
made my day.

I feel like this chapter was a great way to get into the fic, though, and I especially enjoyed when Ford was yelling at Mabel for not knowing who the president was. Mabel says she doesn't care about polotics, so I wonder if the Stanchurian Candidate episode would still happen... Although now it would be the Mabel...urian... Candidate...? Something like that?

I already love this fic though, even though it only has one chapter X3
