What an amazing chapter! Love this story

GREAT STORY. Loving how it’s going so far. But just imo, I feel like you’re dragging it just a little bit. I’m the type of reader who gets bored if you talk about details of things too much, and your story, despite the amazing internal dialogue, is just kind of too much for me. There’s times where I want to skip a few sentences, as it’s s bote if it’s just prolonging the story and nothing’s happening, It’s okay to talk about feelings, but you should have to go super deep so much, maybe only occasionally in the big important parts. But idk. Just my opinion. Other than that, I love seeing Katara and Aang be jealous of each other, the suspense of having their moment is REAL! :)

Goodness gracious, this was wonderful to read. I have far, far too many opinions on the incredible cast of Avatar - but I always felt like we never got to see as much of Aang's internal struggles as I would have preferred. Getting to see frustrated, confused, self-deprecating and somewhat insecure Aang in this setting is really giving that itch the ol' scratch! It certainly helps that you're doing a tremendous job retaining the voices of the characters.

I'm quite excited to see how this story continues/ends. : )

(Although I have to say, as much as I adore Kataang, my secret Taang heart was really hoping that Twinkletoes would relax for a minute and ask Toph to dance. I'll go down with that ship!)

I really enjoy your characterization and the use of the internal dialogue. Often times I find that when writers use the direct quotation of a character's internal thoughts it can come across as abrupt or 'cheap' - sorry for the negativity, just my opinion! - BUT your usage of it here is chefkiss A!
