Pretty nice job, curious to see the fights.
DarkAngelDan98 chapter 1 . 7/19
This certainly quite unexpected I never would've thought that your next story would be a Castlevania based story, I admit that my knowledge about Castlevania's pretty limited since I don't know too much aside from information I've gotten from Smash or from the Netflix anime so I probably won't be able to pick up on any Easter eggs or references in this story though in a way going in with little knowledge about Castlevania as a whole will probably help make the story more interesting since a lot of what happens will probably come across as a surprise.

Anyway getting into the story itself seems like Soma's been having to deal with quite a lot of hassle as a result of being Dracula's current reincarnation and it sounds like he's already fought against his fair share of powerful bad guys since becoming aware of who and what he truly is though it sounds like this cult that isn't too strong on it's own but is proving to be a nuisance when it comes to permanently stamping it out seems to be a greater irritation to him then the stronger monsters he's faced since at the least when he gets rid of those they have the decency to stay gone while these cultists keep popping up no matter what he does. At the very least he doesn't have to worry about the church trying to kill him. It's a good thing that he has friends who are in rather handy positions to help both him and those who are close to him. Some might question Soma's intelligence or commitment to learning if he needs to take remedial exams but honestly it's impressive that he's been able to make it to University considering everything he's had to deal with when he was still just in high school. Seems like despite getting away from Japan he still has to deal with a lot of trouble that that's probably a lifetime gig considering he's a Dracula reincarnation.

Shanoa still seems to fight mainly by using magic though that much was to be expected and thankfully all the fights Soma's been in before seems to have made him pretty competent in combat. Despite the fact that they just met and were hurled into a battle the two of them appear to work quite well together especially since they didn't even need to communicate with each other much while they were fighting off those monsters. It's a good thing that Shanoa is reasonable and not the kind to attack indiscriminately otherwise Soma may have been in a spot of trouble so it's a good thing she was willing to hear him out.

Okay I did not think that Castlevania had a series that had quite a bit of time travel in it and while Soma's explanation at least gave some insight into what he's been through I admit that similar to the both of them I am a bit confused as to what's going on, perhaps I should try learning a bit more about Castlevania so that the rest of the story will make a bit more sense. It sounds like the two of them are going to have to fact check and share quite a bit of information both amongst themselves and with Soma's allies if they're going to get a clear picture as to what it is that is going on with Shanoa's sudden appearance.

Even though I don't know much about Castlevania I'm still interested to see where you take this story Big bro Yu, hopefully Soma and Shanoa will get some answers as to what's going on soon.
