Review before I started reading... Your reasoning is spot-on and exactly the reason why there are so many ToC fanfics out there. The storyline leading up to Somalia was so great and ToC was one of the best NCIS episodes. Even the actors will tell you so. But what happened after was handled very poorly. These type of shows dont handle trauma very well. But NCIS writers seem to have learned their lesson lately and their writing in this regard is improving a bit. Anyway, this was pointless, I just wanted to chat and now I am actually gonna read it...
