Thehazeofdusk chapter 1 . 10/27/2019
Shit this really fucked me up. Apparently more than any of the others. A fucking masterpiece.
R.R.L chapter 1 . 12/30/2008
Everything's done so well! The chatting, the in-between. I'm glad there's more to this story!
MissGuided chapter 1 . 8/18/2008
*sniff* I love the sadness of it all.
Randirogue chapter 1 . 5/15/2008
Long time, no see... Egads, I love this. I'm am so on a not-good-for-my-day-job obsession of reading all these again tonight and finding myself glad that I didn't review all of them because then I wouldn't be able to leave this little note now.

Fantabulous, it is. Must read them all tonight, and those I somehow missed along the way (recent stuff, woot!), even if it makes my eyes burn from staring at the screen too much... even if it makes me go to work tomorrow all sleepless and stuff.

Thanks for writing these. I hope you never stop. :D

Marr chapter 1 . 8/22/2003
I love these stories so much.. Remy is hardly ever written about in the movieverse and you write him so well. Please continue because these are so good and I despretly want to read what's next.
ChaosCat chapter 1 . 8/11/2003
I cannot express to you how fantastic this series is. Nor can I express to you how much I wish you'd write another chapter. I've never been a big fan of Movie-verse fics.

But this. . .This is utterly beautiful. I was hooked from the first part. Remy and Scott having that history. Your perspective of Remy is just perfectly dark. And, of course, Rogue and Remy. They have one of the most complicated relationships of any comic characters, and that is why I just can't help but love them!

The only thing I wish is that there was more Logan in all of this. Still, I understand that the focus is on Rogue or Remy, or even Scott, which is a delightful change.

Please write more. I implore you!
lil'kittie chapter 1 . 7/28/2003
Aiee! I can't wait for the next part! This fic is unbelievably addicting, and I adore it! I really like the slice of life style and the well-illustrated characters. Plus, you can handle writing accents without making them annoying. The bits with Rogue and her college friends are weirdly accurate, and I enjoyed Remy's cafe chapter so much because I could see it happening. my only criticism is a mechanical one: the spell checker is your friend. More specifically, proofreading is your friend. Some of the later chapters could do with a second glance, as sometimes words are used which don't particularly make sense.

Anyway, that's just a little thing, and I'm really blown away by the immensity and warmth of this fic series. Please keep writing it! Kudos!
angeleyes27 chapter 1 . 7/25/2003
This arc is so great! Are you going to finish it? Please continue writing!
missy42 chapter 1 . 7/16/2003
Wow, you sure know how to write stories that make the readers go back and re-read them for clarificaion. Yet another great addition to this arc, not that I was expecting anything else, mind you.

Some great Rogue/Remy action there - can never get enough of that, even if it was computer sex, or near computer sex! I also really liked your reference to the other X-Men-Verses. The disastrous concert was vaguely reminiscent of X-Men: Evolution, which was cool, but the "if I had to pick something to do for you with my own two hands, building houses wouldn't be it" was classic comic-verse! And where *was* that hand of hers?

A few things I'm a bit confused about, though. I can understand Remy's reluctance to have his mind poured in Rogue's, but what did he mean when he said that some of his thoughts about her weren't totally his? Has he been doing some snooping around other people's minds? Does he have fantasies about her that he doesn't want her to know about, or just feelings for her? I kinda got the feeling that Rogue knows how he feels about her, and that they even maybe had something of a dating relationship going on before she left, but got frustrated when it couldn't go anywhere physically. Was that the tension that was going on between them when Rogue first went to England, and that they kept talking referring to in the chapter with the Summers' wedding?

There were a few other things I didn't get, too, like why Scott started talking about Rogue's personality after confirming that Rogue and Remy had been having chat sessions? And when Scott said "...she always comes back... And even if she doesn't..." how was he going to complete that sentence? "She does love you?" And what exactly was it that Rogue wanted to communicate to Remy in their last chat that Remy felt the same about? And does the fact that these chats are in the fic mean that he agreed to help out and are what telepaths are using to anchor Rogue's mind?

Anyway, I'm sure I'm coming off as being pretty dense right now, but I'd appreciate some sort of clarification, though I'd love some new material from you too, either on this arc, or on your wonderful website, too. Whichever comes first, I guess. Hope to hear something from you soon.

Neurotic Temptress chapter 1 . 6/2/2003
Whew! Man, was I ever slow to review this one, huh? Can you believe I saw this the day you posted it, saved it, and *only* now had the opportunity to sit down and read the darn thing? I don't know what went wrong; where in this finely tuned machine of my fanfiction-reading-and-reviewing system did the wrench get thrown in? And why weren't repairs made on the spot? All right, that's enough of that. *I* don't even understand what I'm typing anymore. I need sleep!

Okay, so I love how you're making use of so many writing styles in this entire series. You've used both third- and first-person perspectives, as well as the uncommonly used second-person in Part 8 (which, btw, is my favorite - as if you didn't know that already : ). Then you jumped to that rather confusing, yet so ultimately cool "multi-first-person perspective" (for lack of a better term) in the last chapter. And now you're doing things in chat-room form. Will you be breaking out into poetry the next time we see something from you? Or maybe you'd like to try your hand at some haiku? : )

It's nice to see that Rogue and Remy are talking again. Okay, so maybe not so much 'talking' as typing and sending messages across the miles... Their banter is one of the things I love so much about their relationship. "Consulting what? ... whatever needs to be consulted." Well, gee, that was so very enlightening... ; ) Reminds me of one of my former teachers trying to define the word 'value.' "Class, values are something you... value." Yeah, we kinda got that part... ; ) Or the ever popular "A baked potato is a potato that's baked." You don't say? And here I was thinking it was stir fried...

Oh, and look what you did to poor Jono! I was hoping you wouldn't do that to him, but then again I guess he wouldn't be the same character if he didn't have the big gaping hole in the upper portion of his body, now would he? But it's still sad... especially when you mentioned the part about everyone blaming the riot on him, while he's sitting there hysterical over the manifestation of his mutant powers. That's just cruel.

"if I had to pick something to do for you with my own two hands, building houses wouldn't be it." ~~ Has somebody been digging through her X-Men collection recently? Maybe around the time of... oh I don't know... issue #8 perhaps? : )

*stares blankly at screen, reads a little, jaw drops open, reads more, stares in shock, reads on with intense interest* Comment later... read now... you wait... *irrefutable proof that all coherent thought has left the brain*

*thirty minutes later* I think I'm good now... I'm calm... *deep breath* ... I think I can continue... just let me open the window... really hot in here... : )

Ahh, and she actually asked why he doesn't call her Marie. You had yourself a cute little full circle moment there, my friend.

"I wish I could just take you inside my head and show you what I mean." ~~ How completely prophetic of her... in a way, at least.

Okay, so I'm done now. Finished the chapter. Wanna know the first words out of my mouth? "Dammit, katt!" I'm sorry, but it was an involuntary reflex that seems to happen a lot after reading your work. That was a nice, solid chapter. Beautiful as always. But why do I feel the end coming near? *sniff, sniff... outright bawling like a baby* You're going to end it soon and I won't have anything to look forward to anymore! *pouts childishly, and yet retains the innocent, neurotic look that is completely me*

Great choice for the title, btw! : )
