wow,this is awesome. I love how you portray zhang s feelings,how his loyalty makes him such a great soldier, and how this is taken advantage of. I get why he would react like that, even though it is in some sense an overkill. he did the right choice for himself by joining xcom. this story is one of the best ones. I really got to learn more here

It’s a bit rushed, and XCOM arrived extremely fast after the call. But overall, well written and gives a cool insight in Zhang as a character

Aw yeah! I really wish we'd been given more explanation in game for why Zhang quit the Triad, and I love the idea that there was a debate as to whether or not to get involved with alien tech. This was a very cool imagining of it!
