I genuinely adore this story, I've been searching for a good hobbit fic for a while and this just ticks all the boxes, especially with fili and kilis characterization.

in the begining I thought this was leaning towards a fili fanfic but now that thorin is the loverboy I'm like AHHHH just imagining him smoulder and smirk makes me giddy. anyways, this comment is long but what I really wanted to say was thank you and I look forward to seeing what happens next

Still loving this story! I can't wait to hear the full story about Gailien's past and how she was injured. And I'm having a field day trying to figure out which of the Durin boys she's going to end up falling for! Everytime I think I know, something else happens and I change my mind! LOL!

Nice chapter, saving their lives (especially of one ungrateful dwarf, showing that Gailien is a better person) and nice cliffhanger (great way to make readers eager for more).

I figured she’d be singled out for torture. I was surprised she doubted Bilbo for a second, but glad she trusted him nevertheless.

I hope the Company doesn’t blame her for not seeing the goblins in her visions.

Thank you for updating so often! It’s amazing. I love the growing friendships between Gailien and Fili/ Kili. I hope thorin and the others aren’t too mad at her. Her vision didn’t war her about the thunder giants, only about a bad storm and that they would all make it across safe. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Hmm, interesting. So she’s unsure if one of her parents was either an elf or half-elf? How can someone who isn’t immortal live past 400? Aragorn (nice cameo of him and Gilraen) was 210 when he died of old age, so even the Dunedain rarely made it to over 400 years old. Elrond’s brother Elros was over 500 but he was the first of the Dunedain, so he lived long even by their standards.

I disagree with Dwalin slightly, Thorin should tell the Company the truth about her seeing the trolls at some point, it would certainly shut Dori up (feel free to have Thorin or Dwalin “accidentally” hit him later). That way, they’d know her visions aren’t useless.
