I just love the community's collective efforts to keep poor Pike's mind off worrying after Henry and missing him. That's one of the things I love so much about the original film and you captured it so well here.

You have Pike’s anxiety pegged. It’s kind of amazing. I was laughing so hard at his naïveté when Henry asked what he was wearing! So adorable. And so sweet that everyone knew how much he’d miss Henry. I love that Pike’s “people” love him and know all about him even though he thinks it’s all secret.

This is a gem! Melted my heart. Pike, you are SUCH A SWEETHEART! NotMarge, You've got the characters down perfectly. I hear each of them talking, in their voices, like old friends, in my head as I read. Perfect. And perhaps another one-shot of that visit to NYC?!

Omg this made my day! I was at work when I saw the email notification and I immediately had to sneak off to a corner and read it! You captured Pike and Henry to perfection! I could picture and hear them as though I was watching a movie. Those two are so adorable together! And what a lovely nod to the part of the movie when Henry nearly went back to New York. You made me laugh when Henry asked Pike what he was wearing and his intention whooshed right over Pike’s head! So much for phone sex! And the way you wrapped up this lovely story with your scene at the end, with Henry and Pike together in bed. So sweet and tender! Now I need to watch Big Eden tonight! Bravo! I think out of all your Big Eden stories, this is now my new favorite!
