This is lovely. You've put a lot of thought into the cultural differences between the two worlds, including even classifying Puckworld as a nickname among the younger generation, and created quite an interesting language for them! Reminds me of Hawaiian, or perhaps Mayan!
The ritual related to mourning/celebrating the loss of loved ones on ice is very fitting, as well, and provides this tiny glimpse into what sounds like a rich and vibrant history the ducks come from.
It's always so great to read someone's interpretation of this world they come from, and you've come up with some fantastic ideas. Hope to see more from you!
