I noticed how Robert has made something of his name during the past years, good for him. Looking forward to find out more about his raise on the ladder of Braavosi politics. Hopefully his son will not set back some future plans with his reckless behaviour. You have me hooked.

Good first chapter. I like the attention to the little details. Roger seems as inexperienced character, but he's young, he's still got much to learn. I have to admit, though, I didn't expect the timeskip. How did Robert end up in Braavos?
