Yes, Warhammer is hard to stomach, even for experienced fanfiction writers. I tried my hand with it myself (series of rejection letters - I Said NO, chapter 21), and it still bamboozled my mind to try and have everyone more or less in character on account there aren't any originals to base fiction off of laying around here.

I like that you are blending it together with your own ideas, not too boggled down with the preconceived ones, though I do believe you will incorporate bits and bobs later on. But the way and amount is up to you.

Yes, saying that is like heresy and sacrilege to true die-hard Warhammer fans, but the wonder of fanfiction is that you can express your ideas, your way of telling the story through it in some way, shape or form.

Do it your way - I will keep an eye on how far will you go, and hopefully, we all will have fun and good times to share in meantime.

I have to say I’m genuinely interested in where you take this story and how Harry and big E are going to interact. You’ve gotten some push back obviously but you’ve justified yourself well enough in my eyes if a little hand wavey. All in all walking the middle between these two fan bases will be tricky but I think you’ve managed it fair enough. Keep it up.

This is interesting. I'd like to see more, so keep posting. I do think you wanked the power of HP characters a bit, as a lot of the supposed 'lore' that makes anyone in HO actually powerful compared to other universe, especially fucking Warhammer of all things, is fanon originated. Canonically, Harry is rather average when it comes to magical power, and really just has a lot of determination. Voldemort is less powerful than Albus, but younger and faster. And Albus has never been seen to do any particularly insane feats, certainly nothing on the power scaling of people from 40k which is one of the most OP universes ever. I really think that certainly Celestine and Valoris outclass Voldemort in combat ability, and I don't think Fiendfyre is hot enough to be any threat to Valoris' armor. A lot of the more crazy spells and stuff people like to employ in FF was just made up by fans, and I think there's a bit of that here, certainly implied. So yeah, kinda wanky, but not so much that I'm turned away from the story completely. I think in a prolonged battle Celestine and Valoris could have beat him, as they know far more about combat in general, but I can see how they'd have a disadvantage in the first battle with him due to surprise.
I await more, as always.

The interesting thing about this story is that the emperor knows what led to the fall of the federation of humanity and knows how to prevent the fall of the federation from happening. There will be no second rebellion by Iron Men. And the Eldar will receive a very unpleasant surprise when they see humans attacking their territory to try to prevent the birth of Slaanesh. In fact, I wonder if you are going to get to the point where you show humanity deciding to go to war against a 60 million year old empire to try to prevent the birth of a god of chaos, it would be very interesting. There is a lot of potential to do seeing that the emperor has gone back to the past and knows how to prevent a lot of things from happening thanks to his knowledge of the future. good story.

Damn, this is actually very very cool. Personally, I'm a bit more of a fan of Fantasy, but I can appreciate a good 40k story as well, and this certainly seems to be shaping up to be one.

I can only imagine how utterly terrifying if would be to see Trajann Valoris rushing at you, regardless of how insane you are. Look forward to seeing Harry's growth via Empcrux, and maybe a change in outlook, realising that while all people have the potential to be good, goodness is not inherent. And also hopefully some less Ron and Hermione, now that Harry has seen figures like Malcador the Sigillite, the Primarchs, Constantin Valdor, etc. and their skills/convictions.

I have actually been hoping to see someone write a story like this ever since I read a one shot version of it in another authors random ideas compilation. Great see the concept expanded, though it is going to be hard for you to make the wizarding world into anything beyond minor annoyance to Emperor Harry in the long run.

I mean you could pull the "magic is warp energy" too if you wanted. The warp is much calmer during this time, since humanity's expansion boosted it's power a lot, plus it's Pre "The Fall" so no Slaneesh nor Eye of Terror. If you don't want to go that route you're absolutely free to, but the lore definitely would back you up on it if you did.

"The pieces that you're made of...the fragments of those shamans...they are not a full person" Fucking what? Yeah, they're not a full person, they're thousands of people combined as one. It's not like each shaman added a tiny shred of their soul until they had one normal human soul sized patchwork lump, they fused their entire souls with one another to create a single soul stronger than any god or daemon.
Harry's will to live plus the love of his mother versus the determination of literally thousands of Merlin tier badasses plus the will of the guy who figured conquering the whole fucking galaxy in just two centuries would be a nice team-building exercise. There's no way Harry could win that battle of wills. Plus, The Emperor would have the fanatical love and devotion of billions of people who gladly gave their lives to protect him during the Horus Heresy, including Sanguinius, and Primarchs feel emotions a lot more intensely than any mortal is capable of, so...yeah. Even if it were just Harry's will against The Emperor's, no help from mother's love or shamans' sense of duty etc., Big E would win out no problem, Harry ain't even the most willful guy in Hogwarts.
Plus The Emperor could just show up to Harry, explain a brief summary of the situation, vaporize the fragment of Tom Riddle's soul, take it's place until they get back to the material world, and then use his OP pls nerf powers to reconstitute a new body for himself without having to go through some Harry Potter fan wank bullshit.

Couldn't the old and current Emperor Fuse? I mean essentially you have two Emperors now.
Or just give him a body like in the way (maybe more humane) notsodark lord used to resurrect. Theoretically he could just self resurrect do to him being Perpetual.
