I can't help but think that you're intentionally trying to prove me wrong. It's pretty interesting how Carlos is the only one that didn't get his item of power directly from a Rivera or Aves. And I can't believe I've forgotten how horrible Manny was a pet owner (I think Timmy Turner had a better track record). I'm kind of surprised how many people have come close to unraveling the Avera mystery before just discarding the whole thing. Now, I'm on the edge of my seat to see which Chimera Carlos got and who is his mysterious counterpart.

Can't wait to see what the Chimera Belt can do!

Well, this is an interesting hero origin. I'm a sucker for people getting power from the dark side and turning it into something for good. Good to see that Maria has a good head on her shoulders despite her ego; though I wonder if she knew that her namesake nana is her biological grandmother or not. I'm surprised that Albino Burrito became an honored hero to the point that he and his son are practically celebrities. Also, it's hilarious to know that Maria wasn't Voltura's first choice to be given the watch. Now, we just need to know how the eldest child, Carlos, fits in (and whether my theory that the Chimera supers are the result of him being split down the middle and neither being aware of each other's nature is true or not).

I’m always interested in Manny/Zoe stories. I must say I love how you caused most of the villains to go legit, how you matched their characteristics to their trade skills in later chapters. I can’t wait to see how this all plays out.

Good intro to Pink Spinx’s alter-ego, guess that explains the cliche hero one liners and references. She kind of pegs me as like a young female Scrooge McDuck, works hard for her goals and as a superiority complex, only replace greed with pride. Good but flawed, which is perfect.

So, we've got our cat-bird themed villain, and he happens to be a gamer. I have to admit that it's surprising that Puma Loco is still alive given the time skip, but at least he's still got his sadistic streak in his advanced years. At least Pablo's transformation device is one of the more discrete in his family's line, but I hope he doesn't expect to upgrade his phone anytime soon. That was a nice touch to have Pablo's gamer friends become his gang (though I'm concerned that he'll ditch them for Crazy Chimera). Getting insight on some of the former villains' lives was interesting with Sergio and Diego's business ventures and personal lives. You kind of threw me for loop with Frida Leone having the same hair color as her namesake, but that's just the result of her dad's unresolved issues. All in all, I can't wait to read about what capers the Griffon Gang will get into and how they'll be thwarted.

But you brought back old memories that I will enjoy reading about, especially in chapter 2! :) With Maria on the scene, things are going to get a bit messy, especially with her pushing Manny to the good side.

Another interesting take on the Next Generation trope. At least the kids share the same biological parents this time. I wonder how different the new Miracle City really is compared to the show. Thanks to the profiles, I seem to have a decent idea as to which supers the Avera kids are (unless Champs and Crazee are actually the split personalities of the same person given physical form). All in all, I'm hooked.

Is the story part of the MUSHUverse? If so, will Danny's children, Randy, Jake and all the other heroes that Manny met will appear?
