Aww that was so cute

Man, the ancient Egyptians sure weren't playing around with curses! I think the part that really hit me hard in this story was when Crowley instinctively thought the glass of water was holy water. Oh Crowley...that really hit me in the gut. Aziraphale was such a steady rock in this story and I loved that he read to Crowley to help distract/comfort him. That's one of my favourite headcanons - Aziraphale reading to Crowley.

Though I hate to see poor Crowley suffer (even more than he already does, what with wrangling with his own demons), this was a nice piece, well characterized, and empathetic. Always good to have an angel friend who looks after you...

GEEZ poor Crowley... how awful for him! :( And I can't help but feel the impact even more with everything going on in the world right now, to have such a terrible coughing sickness, and poor Azi there with him but not really able to help. Thank goodness it cleared up on its own. Azi is such a sweet and gentle caretaker, I'm glad he and Crowley got through that together!

Crowley strikes me as someone who looks like having weak lungs or generally frail in health. He doesn't look very strong, narrow shoulders, 'thin chest' as you said. He's skinny, thin boned, and you made me imagine the inside of his long slender neck being tortured like that in this story and I'm like, no! and on top of that the coughing, his poor lungs! I'm here screaming 'somebody give the pretty boy some damn anesthesia!' XD But your descriptions were so vivid and well written I could almost feel it. This was one good hurt/comfort! Aziraphale is just the best! I liked all the hugging parts, and rubbing the chest XD hope we get more of that in your fics! It was painful but your comfort is so satisfying! XD the best!

Wow that sounded so awful! Somehow worse than the one where Crowley actually did drink holy water. Probably because I can't relate to that but painful coughing is all too familiar and this is like that x 1000! I could almost physically feel his pain. Nice h/c though with Azi looking after him :)

I love the idea of being cared for by an angel. I am not a fan of the other kinds of fics where Crowley comforts Aziraphale. Let's face it, if Crowley embraced you, you would be comforted by bones LOL David Tennant is too thin imo. But I love stories like this where the angel comforts Crowley. It makes a lot more sense visually and idea wise. Who wants to be comforted by a skeletal thin demon? No offense Crowley. But soft plump angel Azira holding you, caring for you when you are hurt or sick... that's perfection hurt comfort

Man your hurt comfort! My favorite part was when Aziraphale was rubbing soothing circles against Crowley's aching chest in his effort to give him some relief from the pain. That was such a comforting and tender gesture. It was gut wrenching to see him in so much pain, but oh the comforting from Aziraphale XD! Great work.

Aww poor Crowley! As if he isn't already skin and bones and for him to waste away from a sickness like that is heartbreaking. But I can see this. I suffered through a persistent sore throat once and let me tell you people thought I had anorexia when really I was just in pain and lost a lot of weight from it. Glad his angel is by his side to help him through this

I love caring and protective Aziraphale. It's exactly what I asked and wanted. I love this hurt comfort story!
