I really love this type of idea where the Consortium found out what they were doing. Will you do more about this type of universe? I'm curious on how life would be for Caesar since he can't see and how Rex would react to that if they are reunited. Overall, I love it. Amazing job writing this short story.

Wow, this was dark. In a world where the Consortium wins would be a bleak place for sure. Would Rafael and Violeta allow their own son be lobotomize even to save his life? I don't know. These were the same people who risked everything to stop them in the first place. Regardless, a very well written story.
