This is the first IT fic i've read bc i just saw the film, but i'm super excited! mandy is so cute and even though she's beverly's sister you can tell that they're two distinct people. i really enjoyed mandy and bill's dynamic too like ! the way they're so cute...ugh i love

i feel like you could do a lot of really great stuff w the horror genre just because you focus so much on characters and their sensitivities/soft spots, which is such a great source of horror angst, Especially wrt IT! thank you so much for sharing 3 3

I got the chills reading Mandy's interaction with their father. I felt so bad when she had to go through a mental checklist to think about what she had forgotten, only that he wanted a simple kiss on the cheek. I just want to give her a hug and probably kick the crap out of her dad.

Oooooo, someone likes Bill ;D and the fact that even Beverly ships them together. Their little interaction was so cute, you had made awwing 3

I really love their different personalities (Bev being the badass while Mandy is the good girl) and I'm excited to see where it will go from there, especially when they are adults.

It’s only one chapter but I’m already in love with this story. The chapter had a perfect balance of childish innocence (Mandy dancing & her adorable crush on Bill) and an edge of tension that was layered over everything. I love that the OC is Beverly’s twin, because it’s showing that two people in the exact same situation can still react differently. Bev is more rebellious while Mandy seems to be more level, and I’m curious to see how Mandy’s personality interacts and influences the rest of the Loser’s Club.

I'm jumping in to do something for you before all the requests come in! Okay, what a lot of people don't know about me is that I love IT. I love the mini-series and I love the new movies that we've gotten. The stories were done well and I think they perfectly casted for both of them. And, through this, I think Mandy would've been a great addition to the story if she were a real character. And she definitely deserves to be a character within the story. The background to her character as someone who has her own ways to go through what's going on with the family, is very interesting to read.

And Billy's already been my favorite character, so I like that it's the ship here. There's a lot of sweetness you can bring here and we've already seen a lot of it. Great job with this chapter, Jan!

Aww, I like Mandy. She’s such a sweetie! I liked how you displayed the differences between Bev and Mandy. How Mandy overachieves while Bev doesn’t.

Also, can I tell you how much I love the title?! Because Angel Eyes is a favorite ABBA song of mine, and I liked how you used part of the lyrics for part of the description. Genius!

Bill and Mandy are so sweet and cute, I really loved their interactions together, and I can’t wait to read more of them!

Very nice beginning. I think it's creative to have the OC be Beverly's sister, and I look forward to seeing their relationship and differences in their personalities, and how they fit into the Losers Club together. I was getting scared at the part with Mandy and her dad. I like that Mandy has a crush on Bill; that will be fun to see, too.

When home is a nightmare; school becomes an escape. A safe place. Bonus? The anticipation of knowing Bill would be there lol Pft. Sorry. Had to call that out. Her crushing is adorable.

That opening was so tight, with just enough natural humor to keep it from snapping like a broke elastic! lol Mandy is looking forward to school, dreading a snowday, crossing her fingers as she's listening to the radio . . . it was sweet. And very childish - reinforcing the fact that Mandy IS still just a girl. She's a kid.

A fantastic way to introduce a GREAT character, during the silent tip-toeing around the house not to provoke an angry father.

Her dad's up and down, then asking for a peck on the cheek though cramped my stomach. The allegations that were not . . . exactly . . . unsubstantiated . . . the second he latched onto her head, refusing to let her pull away, I swear my heart skipped.

Wow! I remember seeing an edit for Angel Eyes last year and losing my shit. (One of my favorite authors writing a fic for one of my favorite films?!) I'm so glad that you decided to breathe life into this plot bunny. I enjoyed reading this chapter. Mandy is such an interesting character, and I think her crush on Bill is adorable. I'm excited to see what will happen next :)

Ahh! This was great! I'm really excited to for more and to see how Mandy affects the plot. I liked seeing that she responds differently to her father than Beverley does and it'll be interesting to see how she fits into the Losers gang. Really excited for more!
