Please update soon this is so much better than the anime. Oh quick if you decide to make a rewrite of Kalos could you at least give him a mega Pokémon because I feel like he was shafted out of using mega evolution in the anime.

I am enjoying this Unova fix-it. Ash is actually using his experience and his brain and is actually training his team more efficiently (those that don't need a stone or item to evolve, at least). With the way things are going, he'll actually get to the League with Pokemon that have evolved past their first stage.

I like the addition of Ash's old Pokemon, and I like the way they clearly have more experience, but they aren't overpowered (which I have seen in a lot of other fix-its, and have found I'm not too fond of it). Infernape is a nice mentor figure for Tepig, and I love how Tepig looks up to him. Snivy's awe at Pikachu's battle skills is adorable, too. If it's possible, I'd like to see more interactions between her and Sceptile. I feel like they'd be good friends.

(There is NO WAY I'm buying Snivy and Oshawatt still being a Snivy and Oshawatt at THAT point in time. Had Ash trained and battled as he did in previous Leagues, they'd be at least in their second stage, like Pignite. I also don't buy that he made it to the semi-finals in Sinnoh, but only the top eight in Unova, by losing against a COMPLETE NEWBIE WHO ONLY BROUGHT FIVE POKEMON TO A SIX POKEMON MATCH. *deep breathing* Sorry. I needed to get that out of my system.)

I like the changes you made to Iris and Trip's characters. Iris was a little irritating, and Trip felt a bit like a Paul knockoff, but weaker. Iris seems to be a bit more like May and Misty, now, in terms of relationships, and I feel like it's a much better result compared to what she was like in the show. I also like the idea of Trip and Ash being more friendly rivals like with Barry and Richie, too, and Hilda is an interesting addition. I look forward to seeing how this changes the Unova plotline. Cilan and Iris getting over their fears will also be nice to see.

I loved the scene with Torterra. It was very sweet, and I feel Ash addressing his insecurities helped them become even closer. I can't wait to see Torterra in battle, and how they get over the speed limit. Will you use the move where he swallows the energy ball? The others would be like "WTF! HOLY SH-!"

My only real criticism would be that sometimes, it feels like Ash is switching out the older Pokemon a little too quickly. I know you might want to focus on Infernape and Sceptile, at least, that's what I'm seeing here, but sometimes with the other Pokemon, it's like there's almost no time between them arriving and them leaving, which makes me a little confused about how much time passed between the two events. I saw that when you brought out Staraptor, Swellow, and Noctowl in this chapter; it feels like only a few lines later that they are gone.

Having a small bit of interaction with the Pokemon would be a simple way of solving this. Maybe having them share a meal together with the newer additions to the team? Heck, even Ash talking to them, thanking them for their work and celebrating with them would work. I just feel like there should be a little bit more there than just "Help us track these guys down. Okay, it's time to go home."

This is probably the best Unova rewrite I've seen in a while, maybe ever. I love how you're balancing both Ash's old 'mons with the new ones, and I really like some of the relationships you've established, like how Tepig considers Infernape a mentor, inspiration and protector, something that most fics miss out on due to an over-reliance on Charizard. I also like what you've done with both Iris and Trip. They're a lot less insufferable in this story, which makes me appreciate them far more than I did in the anime.

The power-scaling is really well done too. Ash is powerful, but he's got a really good rival in Hilda; one who can match (perhaps even surpass) him in power through her vast experience, rather than Ash ending up with a newbie with a miracle Snivy as his rival. It feels a lot more realistic, and it finds a way to utilize B/W's missing protagonist.

The movie "I Choose You" retconned a few things, but I think it was a good change.

It's been a while since I last seen this story u did an awesome job and still hope at some point ash and iris end up together looking forward to the next chapter and seeing how ash is helping iris cilan and trip overcome there fears is definitely something he didn't do in the anime version glad to see he's helping them out more than in the anime

Oh boy! I was so happy to see and update. So much to like in this chapter too! The 6 on 6 was impressive. I know how annoying those can be, but you did a great job. I appreciated how strong and competent Ash and all his pokemon were. The battle felt very rational and believable, and the strength levels were on point in my opinions.

There was like, one typo in there with Pikachu vs Purrloin, you called it Whirlipede once I think? Not a big deal.

I loved the little moments too, like Cilan stopping iris from accidentally revealing Ash's pokemon. And how Ash didn't know Pikachu's ability. That really made me chuckle.

But the best bit was the after battle. Ash and co talking to Trip and helping him out. I'm really enjoying the direction you took with Trip, giving him real development. Instead of a 'rival' Trip is more of the student. It suits the story much much better.

The other nice bit was the talk about Cilan's fears. it was frustrating how the anime handled that, so its nice to see it becoming a bonding thing for the group.

To cap it off, you incorporate Torterra into the end, which was a very sweet moment. I always thought Ash handled that very badly back in Sinnoh, so it's nice to revisit that. I don't think I have any huge suggestions, just can't wait for more! :D

As a side note, it would be really cool to see Cilan also get one or two more pokemon. Maybe even a Whimsiscott or something? Fairy type, just to mess with Iris lol.

Awesome update... That always bugged about the Black and White series, Trip should have been nowhere near Ash's league since he was a beginner. They basically made him an inferior version of Paul.
