Reviews for Following the Fallen: A MH Quest Description Story
Guest chapter 1 . 4/23
I really love sad stories, but from what Ive seen on this website they seem quite hard to excute properly with the pace and mood. This short piece was truly a gem, I daresay the best writing Ive yet to read in this site. Thank you and happy writing
17dragonboy chapter 1 . 4/19
I like how the beginning was done, the pacing felt right, the emotional responses felt right.
Poor unnamed hunter in the beginning, we hardly knew ya.
A few slips into present tense.
It might just be me, but the ending, though we all saw it coming, felt a little sudden, going from "he'll be back" immediately to "definitely dead." I did like the bit about the necklace though, kind of a gruesome reality.
Guessing this is connected to "Fire and Ice," I think I see what actually happened here, but that leaves the question "why?"
J7892 chapter 1 . 4/14
Wonderful, this is one of the most beautiful story that I'd ever seen about monster Hunter, I love everything in it. I too sad and tragic but beautiful, I like to think that the child has his uncle and in a future he will become in a herbologier like his mother or maybe a hunter like his father. But that will be something that I like to think.
GDG chapter 1 . 4/4
Dear fellow hunter/huntress,
this story truly entertained me. I'm from Italy and I really needed something to read about my favourite franchise.
The setting, the description of the characters and their own points of view are well done and do not distort the original product.
You had a great idea, creating something like this from a quest's description, writings that sometimes are really mysterious, they deserve our attenction more than we think.
Keep going!
P.S. "F**k you world!" was satisfyng !
