I really enjoyed this. There are just ‘worlds’ opening up with alt-Sam and alt-Dean. Alt-Sam really is a priggish piece of work, isn’t he? I get the feeling alt-Dean could have been just like our Dean with a little encouragement. Great story, and a great take on what could be. Well written, well thought out, and enough emotion without taking the toughness out of our boys. Nice work.

You went in some interesting directions. It's a little hard to imagine those relatively self-centered S&D as being married and having the same kind of brother bond, but it does make a nice contrast. And you are so right that our S&D owe no one explanations, that no one could know what all they've been through and how they really feel about each other now. Interesting!

Great story. It was really interesting to see both sibling pairs from the different pov.

Really liked how you tied in Chucks paperbacks. Deans thoughts after hes read the paperbooks was a nice touch.

I say if this is the result of your breaking out of a prolonged period of writers block - you should have writers block more often. Nicely done. I thought you were going to go with AUSam and Dean married but to each other. Thank you for not doing that and instead using AUDeans marriage as the emotional launch point for the brothers. One question - who were you thinking of for AUSams wife? I was sad to see them leave tho.

Id love to see you write one where the boys have to go on a hunt with their AU versions. For example: AUSam and Dean now bored in Brazil, foolishly take on a hunt/case which quickly spins out of their control. They have to call out to the real Winchesters for help. Or as you somewhat touched on - AUSam and Dean get into trouble with the law (possibly in Sam and Deans town) or the Feds. Or the AUWinjesters run into demons gunning for the real Winchesters not realizing the mistaken identities. Or AUSam and Dean open up New World Hunter Corp cutting into the jobs the Winchesters are working. Sure NW Hunter Corp is quick and efficient and get the job done but in hunting quantity is not a substitute for quality and they are causing more problems than they are solving and upsetting some powerful people (and demons?). Deans sick and tired of having to clean up after them and its about to hit the proverbial fan between the Fab Four but when those forementioned powerful factions snatch up his Sammy by mistake promising torture and ransom - but mostly torture - its DefCon 1 baby! No one threatens Deans brothers life and lives to tell about it themselves. Deans more than eager to dish out a little torture of his own. There is so much material with their AUs that Id love to see the show further explore but since that is unlikely to happen I'll have to hope fan fiction chooses to pick up where they cant. Lets face it - fan fic will give it the justice those stories deserve.

Sorry got carried away. Id just love to see you write more about them. I think you'd do it well.

I agree about this season and I wish the writers remembered why so many of us loved this show. It was because of the brothers and their relationship. So please keep writing and I'll keep reading!

I loved it! Even the premise of the story is very unique and creative, and the story is as always very well written. Exactly the thing we needed now that the whole world is in quarantine. It even made me tear up near the end, so kudos!
