The opening "Just what made you of all people think I would help you?" IMO makes more since phrased as " . "Just what made you think of all people, I would help you?"

As is, reads as list of persons including Harry pondering Daphne helping.
As suggested, reads as questioning Harry thinking of list of people including Daphne, and choosing her.

This story has potential to become a great multi chapter story. I hope you reconsider to write more and not letting the idea to die.

Definitely worthy of a long term possible approach with more chapters. You don’t need to go full-on in depth story mode with it. Just more vignettes and time skips would make this just as enjoyable as the first chapter was.

Nice story. Especially how it started out as a mere deal between the two, but starts to blossom into more with Harry and Daphne now being allies. :)
I'll simply hope that you'll turn it into a multi chapter some time in the future :D

This was really enjoyable! The cuts to anew section werent out of place and were very fun!
